Mrs. Melissa Valadez was appointed Principal of Saint Joseph Academy on July 1, 2016.
The Principal is the Chief Operating Officer of Saint Joseph Academy. Appointed by the President and approved by the Board of Trustees, the Principal is directly responsible to the President in all of her decisions and actions. The Principal has immediate responsibility for the religious and educational programs of the school and its general operation. The Principal’s constituents are students, parents, faculty, and staff. The Principal’s duties can be summarized under these headings:
- Educational and spiritual leadership
- Communication of rules and policies
- Supervision of personnel
