Student Advocate Services
The Student Advocate for students at Academic Risk works closely with the Guidance Counselors providing individual assistance to Saint Joseph Academy students and parents in matters pertaining to the quality of their education. The Student Advocate also communicates regularly with the Principal & Administrative Team concerning at risk students.
The primary responsibility of the advocate is to assist those students found to be failing or on Academic Probation by providing resource referrals, directing to appropriate resources for assistance, classroom/faculty concerns, navigating school policies, and procedures to achieve successful academic standing.
The Student Advocate serves as a resource referral agent; maintaining current information on resources for students, i.e. Tutoring, Academic Counseling, Academic Advising, and information on community resources as the primary point of contact for academic support.
Please contact Ms. Lindsay Irwin, SJA Student Advocate at 956-542-3581 ext. 318 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
