National Honor Society
The purpose of the National Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarships, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools. Students must have a cumulative average of 94 and have the recommendation of all faculty members to be in NHS.
Once inducted, students must do the following to continue to be members of the NHS: Serve a minimum of 20 service hours in the community per semester according to the mission statement of Saint Joseph Academy. Preserve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 94. Attend all National Honor Society meetings. Always demonstrate leadership and high character qualities.
